Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 69-year-old Janesville woman. Janesville police say Karen Mcconnaughay was last seen Wednesday and didn't return to to House of Mercy homeless shelter where she was staying. Police were contacted again Saturday morning and told Mcconnaughay still was missing. An employee of Van Galder Bus Company contacted police Sunday morning and told them she was positive Mcconnaughay got on a bus headed to Chicago. Mcconnaughay suffers from two medical conditions—one that requires attention. Mcconnaughay was last seen wearing a green plaid shirt, a cream-colored fleece jacket and white Nike Air Jordan tennis shoes. She sometimes wears a blue bandanna and uses a walker.
