Janesville police are investigating what they describe as a "meth lab" operation at an apartment in the 400 block of East Saint Lawrence Avenue. Officers raided the apartment Sunday night and say they found a large quantity of by-product, paraphernalia, and Methamphetamine production related materials. The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit has asked the State Division of Criminal Investigations to assist with the clean up. One person has been detained. Arrests are expected.
