The City of Janesville is warning motorists about a road closure this week.
North Franklin Street from Centerway to Ravine Street will be closed to through traffic beginning at 10:00 (Monday) morning, and 8:00 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning.
The road will open back up each day in the late afternoon.
The closure is needed while the Union Pacific Railroad completes repairs on the viaduct.
Regular traffic, and Janesville Transit System buses will be detoured around the project using Jackson Street.
