Officials say "it is with great sadness" they announced the death of Janesville Police K9 Karo. Karo and his handler Glen Hageman were partners from May 2008 until September 2015, when Karo had to retire due to health concerns stemming from spinal stenosis. Since his retirement, Karo's health has rapidly deteriorated. Several law enforcement officers and the Rock County Sheriff's office K-9s escorted Karo and the Hageman family to the Janesville Animal Medical Center Tuesday afternoon.
