Local law enforcement will be busy with training on Janesville’s north side Wednesday. Janesville Police Community Services Sergeant Brian Donohoue says a number of local agencies will be participating in “Rapid Deployment” training at Blackhawk Technical College’s Center for Transportation Studies. Donohoue says the department has been fortunate to be offered training opportunities in a variety of buildings ranging from old homes to factories. Wednesday’s training will deal with life threatening situations in a manufacturing setting. Training will run from 5:00 in the morning til 5:00 at night. BTC’s Center for Transportation Studies is located at 1740 West Highway 14.
