Janesville police may have slowed the flow of counterfeit bills into the area. Officers say they’ve arrested 35-year-old Jeremy A. Moore of Beloit on nine counts of forgery. Investigators say fake one-hundred-dollar bills have been turning up for several weeks at gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. Police say they have video surveillance and a confession. Anyone who may have ended up with a counterfeit bill is urged to call police.
