Janesville fire officials are investigating a west-side weekend blaze. Firefighters say the single-family two-story home at 170 South Locust street is a total loss. The home was already engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived a little before 2:30 Sunday morning. Three residents were treated for smoke inhalation, and a total of five-adults and eight-children are displaced. Officials say the fire was found by a family member who alerted everyone in the house.
