Janesville police may be spending a little more time in donut shops. Community Services Sergeant Brian Donohoue says the chief plans to sit down and have coffee with residents. Donohoue says the goal is to allow residents to see police in a relaxed and friendly environment. The effort is part of a trend to engage the community. The first event is planned for 11:00 in the morning two weeks from Friday at Basics Cooperative on Lodge Drive.
