One of two men accused in a January 8th town of Turtle homicide appears in Rock County Court.

26-year-old Jamal Sharief waived his right to a preliminary hearing at his adjourned initial appearance Wednesday afternoon.

According to the criminal complaint, the other suspect in the murder, 28-year-old Marcus A. Clay claims he was driving the car when Sharief suddenly shot Cassini Hill, and pushed his body out on Colley Road.

Sharief is currently being held on a $100,000 cash bond. He’s due back in court for arraignment on March 2nd.
