Today’s college bound student may be forced to change their field of study, even before they finish school. Blackhawk Technical College spokesman Gary Kohn says technology is ever changing available jobs, and schools have to keep up. BTC has been working to meet the challenge of program development in the industrial arts. A good example is BTC’s development of a program for Manufacturing Information Technology Specialist. Kohn says very few colleges have the program now, but predicts all will have it within ten years.
