The Janesville City Council considers converting Milwaukee Street downtown to two-way traffic as part of the Rock Renaissance Area Redevelopment and Implementation Strategy.
Public Works Director Paul Woodard says the City actually approved the change five years ago, but because the street hasn’t been re-constructed yet, it hasn’t taken place yet.
The City Council will discuss converting Milwaukee Street to a two-way between Locust Street and Atwood avenue when they meet at 6:00 Monday night.
