Beloit firefighters are mourning the loss of a retired member from their ranks. Firefighters are people too. Just ask Beloit Deputy Chief Joseph Murray, who posted the loss of retired K9 Molly on the Department’s Facebook page. The 16-year-old K9 was an arson dog. Murray says she was much more than an accelerant sniffing arson dog, she was a real firehouse dog. Molly passed away Sunday after a stroke. She worked at the department from 2003 to 2013.
