AUDIO: A local school district uses YouTube to promote awareness

A strategy change for the Milton School District’s referendum plans. The Milton School District is turning to YouTube to spread the word about its facility needs. District Spokesman Jerry Schuetz says the first “Tim Talk” is intended to better engage the community. Social media is the newest tool for the Milton School District to share it’s message about facility needs and a likely building referendum. Schuetz says the world of public opinion today is strongly influenced by social media. The first episode of Tim Talk can be found on the district’s website.
