Housing market remains strong in Rock County

The Rock County housing market could be at its highest level since the Great Recession. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Jeff Zuelke describes it as a product of supply and demand. Zuelke says the inventory of homes for sale is down dramatically from a year ago. He says bidding wars have been known to occur. Low interest rates are also helping. The Wisconsin Realtors Association reports the median price of a home sold in Rock County last month was 21.5% higher than a year ago. The current median sales price of a home in Rock County is just shy of $130 thousand.
