Janesville League of Women Voters host City Council candidate forum

A candidate forum for the Janesville City Council general election will be hosted by the Janesville chapter of the League Women Voters, Forward Janesville, and JATV on Wednesday, March 9 at 7 p.m.  The forum will be held in the program room of Hedberg Library in Janesville.  All seven candidates for city council have agreed to participate.
The public is invited to attend this free event.  Questions for the candidates will be solicited from the audience during the forum.  It will be recorded that night by JATV and rebroadcast before the election, which is on Tuesday, April 5.  The forum will also be available on the Janesville LWV website and YouTube in the days after March 9th.
“We are once again pleased to co-host a candidate forum to provide information for voters about upcoming elections and the candidates who are running in them,” said Katie Kuznacic, the chapter’s president.  “Providing information for citizens about elections and voting has been a part of the LWV’s mission since its founding in 1920.”
