Suspect in five-year-old’s death makes appearance in Rock County Court

A 24-year-old Beloit man charged with party to the crime of first degree intentional homicide in the death of five-year-old Austin Ramos Junior of Beloit is arraigned in Rock County Court.
Isaac William Torres stood mute to the charge before Judge Michael Haakenson Wednesday afternoon and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
Ramos was killed while riding in his father’s vehicle back in January. Authorities have said the death was some sort of gang retaliation.
Torres will be back in court May 17th.
