One of the four men accused in the drive-by shooting of a five-year-old Beloit boy makes an appearance in Rock County Court.
Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer presided over 18-year-old Hugo Martinez’s preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Martinez waived his right to the preliminary hearing an entered a not guilty plea to the charge of first degree intentional homicide
Austin Ramos Junior was shot while riding in the back seat of his father’s vehicle in January. Authorities believe the father was the intended target due to his past gang affiliation.
