Donors and volunteers of the United Way Blackhawk Region will be honored during an annual celebration breakfast Wednesday. United Way President and CEO Mary Fanning-Penny says it’s important to pay homage to all the hard work and generosity shown during last fall’s campaign. A variety of awards, including emerging campaign, excellence in advocacy, and exceptional workplace support, will be doled out during the 7:00 a.m. event at the Eclipse Center in Beloit.
