Beloit police are investigating a shooting death. Captain Dan Molland says officers responded to the 900 block of Bluff Street around 11:00 o’clock Monday night. Molland says investigators have learned an altercation occurred inside a residence and a 26-year-old man was shot. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died He adds the community is likely in no further danger because all of the subjects involved knew each other.
