Janesville fire investigators are looking into the origin of a blaze at a home in the 2600 block of Meadowview Drive. Firefighters say they found heavy smoke coming from the rear, roof, and eaves of the single family wood frame home when they arrived about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday. No one is reported injured, but six residents are displaced. Damage to the structure and contents are estimated around $ 165 thousand.
