A convicted child sex offender is being relocated to rural Milton. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Eric J. Horst will be living at 8315 East Highway 59 starting Friday. Horst was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2005. The state Department of Community Corrections will prohibit Horst from a variety of activities in the community including contact with minors, unless approved by his supervising agent. He’s expected to comply with standard sex-offender rules and GPS monitoring.
