A recount of ballots in the Janesville City Council race is complete. City Clerk-Treasurer Dave Godek says while there were minor adjustments to vote tallies based on the recount, the results of the election remain unchanged. Jens Jorgensen, Rich Gruber, and Paul Williams are the top three vote winners. Godek says 22 poll workers spent a cumulative 360 hours under controlled conditions in the recounting process of 21,082 ballots which took place Thursday and Friday.
