A Republican has joined the race for the 43rd Assembly District. Daniel J. Joiner of Janesville is a graduate of Edgerton High School and attends Madison College while working at a local restaurant. A news release says it’s time to move the state in the right direction, which includes fiscal stability and economic growth for everyone. Two Democrats, Don Vruwink and Anissa Welch, both of Milton, have also announced their candidacies for the seat, being vacated by Representative Andy Jorgensen of Milton. The election is Nov. 8.
