Join the Rock County Historical Society (RCHS) as they host Wisconsin 101: Our History in Objects, a collaborative public history project that includes both an interactive online exhibit and programming on Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR).
Special guests Thomas Broman and Adam Mandelman will be on hand to talk about how local objects each tell a set of interconnected stories about Wisconsin’s history, people, and places. Rock County’s own Samson Tractor will be featured, as it is a part of this unique educational program.
The program will be held on Thursday, April 21st at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center in the new Toys@PLAY exhibit space located at 426 N. Jackson St. in Janesville. The presentation will begin at 6:30 pm and will have an impromptu discussion afterwards. There is no admission charge, though donations are always appreciated.
