An Evansville High School Senior has been chosen as a semi-finalist for the Presidential Scholars award. Alexander Diebold has been chosen from a field of less than five-thousand eligible students nationwide, and only 12 left in consideration in Wisconsin. Candidates must display exceptional performance on college admissions tests, essays, and school transcripts. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction says being a Presidential Scholar is considered the nation’s highest honor for graduating seniors. Only one male and one female student are chosen from each state.
