Arrowhead Library System to offer free digital streaming service

The Arrowhead Library System has announced a new partnership with Hoopla Digital, a revolutionary digital service made available to the citizens of Rock County by ALS and the 7 Rock County Public Libraries. With Hoopla Digital, library patrons can use their public library account to access thousands of movies, television shows, music albums, eBooks, audiobooks and comics. Starting on June 1st, patrons will be able to instantly stream or temporarily download the free digital content to their Android or IOS devices and computers with a valid Rock County Public Library card.  All content is accessible 24/7 via Hoopla Digital’s mobile app and online at http://www.hoopladigital.com.
ALS Director Steve Platteter commented, “We strive to be an integral resource for our communities. Arrowhead Library System is the first library system in the state of Wisconsin to offer this product.  The easy-to-use interface and elimination of late fees enables us to satisfy all of our patron’s needs in a modern way.”The service is available starting on June 1st to anyone with a valid Rock County Public Library card. If you have questions about the service or don’t have a library card, stop at your local library. Library card applications are simple and library cards are free.
There are public libraries in Beloit, Clinton, Edgerton, Avansville, Janesville, Milton, and Orfordville.
