School District of Janesville Superintendent Karen Schulte says she’s retiring at the end of next school year.
Schulte announced Thursday that after being employed for 15 years with the district – seven as administrator, she’ll be leaving when her contract is up on June 30th, 2017.
Schulte says says she has been privileged to spend so many years working in the Janesville schools, surrounded by a great team of colleagues.
School Board President Kevin Murray says the first step in finding a replacement for Schulte by July 1st, 2017 is interviewing and selecting an outside firm to conduct the search for a new superintendent.
