The case against a former Craig High School employee, accused of embezzlement, will likely be resolved without a trial. 34-year-old Jessica Warner-Reed was arrested in January on suspicion of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from school clubs and sports teams. Her defense attorney told a Rock County Judge Friday morning the prosecution had offered a resolution. Warner-Reed wants to talk to her family before she finalizes a plea. She had pleaded not guilty in February and waived a preliminary hearing. Warner-Reed’s next court appearance is set for May 25. She’s currently free on a $5,000 cash bond.
