Janesville police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person who took a purse from a customer at the Janesville Wal-Mart. Officers say the suspect appears to be a Hispanic female in her early 20s wearing black Spandex pants with a pink stripe and a sweatshirt bearing the logo of a local soccer organization. Police believe their suspect left in a mid-2000s silver Dodge Charger with chrome rims. The incident happened about 4:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
