Get ready to explore the dark side of Toys, with the sixth Rock County Historical Society Tallman Talk- Toys: Trauma Included.
Th talk focuses on all of the fun toys that were marketed to children, without any forethought on how the toys could cause both drama and trauma. Come and hear a brief modern history about all of the toys that could burn, stab, maim, trip, and send children and their parents to the Emergency Room. Then get ready to hear from an actual ER doctor about toy safety and how we can avoid getting hurt from our children’s toys.
This is an interactive program that aims to both educate and horrify in equal measure. Participants are encouraged to ask questions as the second half of the program is similar to a panel discussion. All are welcome to attend!
