Police release a sketch of a man involved in an attempted robbery of a couple who stopped with car trouble on May 15th on Janesville’s east side.
The man is described as being about 20; pale skin and freckles; skinny; about 5 feet, 8 inches tall; 170 pounds; and red-and-black tattoo partially showing above the neck line. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, royal blue, flat-billed baseball-style cap and blue jeans.
Lieutenant Keith Lawver says it’s not every day that police are able to release a sketch of a suspect.
During the incident a little over two weeks ago, a man and his wife were broke down on the side of Ruger avenue when a red car with about fur men inside pulled up and attempted to rob them. The man sustained cuts to his arm.
