An August 9th primary is necessary in the race for Wisconsin’s 43rd Assembly District seat.
Incumbent Democrat Andy Jorgensen is not seeking re-election, instead running for Rock County Register of Deeds.
Democrats Anissa Welch and Don Vruwink, both of Milton will face off in the primary election to decide who’s name will be on the November ballot along with Republican Allison Hetz of Whitewater.
A second Republican, Daniel Joiner of Janesville had entered the race back in April but dropped out last week.
