A Janesville firefighter is injured while on duty Saturday.
The Janesville Fire Department says that a passerby reported the fire at a residence on the 2500 block of South Terrace Street just before 8:00 in the evening.
12 fire and support units and 25 personnel worked to extinguish the fire which caused about $130,000 in damage and left the family of four displaced.
One firefighter was transported to a local hospital with heat related symptoms.
The town of Beloit Fire Department assisted on scene.
