Evansville fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze in a hay barn. More than a dozen departments were called to the farm at 17226 West County Highway C about 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Fire Captain Bob Fahey reports excavating equipment was needed to pull out all the hay and straw to ensure it was extinguished. Firefighters were on the scene for about eight hours.
