The Janesville Board of Education discusses the search for a new superintendent.
Board President Kevin Murray says the City Attorney drafted a request for proposals.
The Board voted unanimously Tuesday night to disseminate the request for proposals not only to top hiring consultants, but also to all media outlets.
The School Board is looking to have proposals returned by July 21st, so they can select a hiring consultant by then end of August.
Current Superintendent Karen Schulte is retiring on June 30th of next year.
