An elderly Stoughton man is seriously injured when his lawn tractor is hit by a cement truck.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the accident on Washington Road in the town of Pleasant Springs just before 9:00 Thursday morning.
Investigation determined that 83-year-old John W. Olson was mowing on the shoulder of the road when he turned into the path of a southbound cement truck driven by 59-year-old Ronald G. Hanson of Janesville..
Olson was transported by Med Flight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. Hanson was not injured.
