A 59-year-old Beloit man is facing a charge of 5th Offense Operating While Intoxicated. Police say an officer saw Thomas D. Iverson driving the wrong way on a one-way street about 7:30 p.m. Friday night. After being pulled over at East Court Street and Marshall Place, the officer says Iverson tried to drive away, once again going the wrong way on a one way street. He now faces charges including Fleeing an Officer, Operating After Revocation, and Open Intoxicants. Iverson is awaiting his court appearance in the Rock County Jail.
