The City of Janesville will be conducting pedestrian traffic counts on Milwaukee Street from Atwood to Locust Street from Wednesday, July 6 through Saturday, July 9.
The purpose of this count is to provide a baseline of pedestrian activity on Milwaukee Street before the conversion of the street from one-way to two-way traffic.
This information will be used to aid the city in determining what impacts the conversion has on residents and downtown businesses.
