Former State Senator from Janesville considers Gubernatorial run

Former State Senator Tim Cullen of Janesville may be getting a little inspiration from Bernie Sanders’ run for president. Cullen is exploring the idea of running for Governor. The Democrat says Sanders’ ability to use the Internet in raising a lot of money from small donors makes fundraising for a successful campaign feasible. Cullen also worried about his age. He’s 72, but Sanders is 74, and the Governor of California is 77. Cullen is no stranger to politics. He’s served on the school board, in the state senate, and also was a member of Republican Governor Tommy Thompson’s cabinet. He expects to make a decision by the end of the year.
