A little confusion for Rock County property owners. County Treasurer Vicki Brown says dozens of people have reported never receiving their courtesy mid-year tax payment reminder. Brown says they were mailed last month to anyone with a balance owed and hasn’t learned why they were never delivered. She says letter or not, the deadline is still July 31st. Brown says many counties have discontinued sending courtesy reminders because of the cost.
