A half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. will be rolling through Janesville Wednesday. Police Sergeant Aaron Ellis expects the semi carrying the Wall That Heals to gather a lot of followers. Ellis says the procession will begin about 10:00 at The Baymont Inn on Midland Road, traveling down East Racine Street, and then through town to Highway 51, and on to Edgerton. The “Wall” will be concealed in a trailer painted with images of the monument. The Wall’s destination is Operation Badger Base, a one-time celebration of veterans and their families running Thursday through Sunday at Ho-chunk Gaming on Millpond Road in Madison.
