A garden that grows not only vegetables but character is the focus of a Rock County Sheriff’s Department Open House Wednesday.
Sergeant Jay Williams says the department’s 24-year-old RECAP garden allows inmates to put a product out into the community.
The open house, taking place from 3 to 5 p.m., is located at the garden east of the Sheriff’s Office on Highway 14.
Produce from the garden will be for sale to the general public.
