A local college is recognized for excellence in a national magazine. Beloit College spokeswoman Whitney Helm says the liberal arts school gets a high ranking from U.S. News and World Reports. Beloit College is listed Number 62 out of a list of 239 national liberal arts colleges. Helm says the rankings are one gauge of the school’s educational success. She says Beloit College was also recognized at No. 10 for Most Innovative Schools, No. 54 on the Best Value list, and No. 69 for High School counselor Rankings.
