The Eager Free Public Library in Evansville is in the midst of a big fundraising effort. Renovations at the Library will take a very feminine twist this weekend. Assistant Director Alison O’Brien says a 150 Extraordinary Women celebration is planned Sunday. She says each of the women have pledged $1000 over five years to show their support for the project. The total goal is $4 million to be raised in a public-private partnership. The funds will be used to increase space, provide more technology, and make the facility a 21st century library.
