The YMCA of Rock County has $30 thousand more dollars in the Friends of Youth Scholarship campaign following the success of the annual Tropical Fiesta fundraiser. YMCA officials say more than 300 attended the 9th annual event Saturday presented by Air Products. The event was held inside the Parker YMCA gymnasium in Milton among brightly colored banners, palm trees, and volcanoes. The proceeds help provide programs and services to thousands of children regardless of their financial situation.
