Coats and other warm weather gear are rolling in to the Janesville Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Coats for Kids drive this year. Organizer Bev Stalsburg says after a week and a half, more than 400 items have been collected and cleaned. Stalsburg says what they haven’t been getting, is stuff for babies. They’re running short on jackets and snowsuits for infants and toddlers. The collection barrels will be out at all the grocery stores and select retailers through October 17th. Last year seven-hundred area families benefited from the effort. Distribution is planned for October 29th.
