A 45-year-old Janesville woman is facing a charge of Operating While Intoxicated 9th Offense. Janesville police responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident near Laurel Avenue and North Walnut Street about 9:30 p.m. Monday. Officers say Karyn A. Rew fled on foot and was captured at a home in the 1400 block of Laurel Avenue. They say she she showed signs of impairment and refused field sobriety tests. She was also suffering from injuries they say were consistent with an automobile accident.
