The death of a man in Walworth County is under investigation.
Whitewater Police say officers were called to a residence on West Peck Street just before 2:30 Tuesday morning on the report that a person was having an unknown medical emergency.
Officers found a man who was unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead by the medical examiner.
While the death remains under investigation, Whitewater Police Chief Lisa Otterbacher says there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the general public.
