Consumers in Rock County appear to be spending more money. Rock County Economic Development Manager James Otterstein says the third quarter Rock Ready Index shows the fourth straight year of increasing sales and tax collection numbers. Otterstein says the index also shows continued improvement in the housing market, and unemployment levels not seen since the year 2000.
