One of the referendums on Rock County ballots (Tuesday) will ask voters to adopt a resolution pushing against the expansion of corporations’ political speech rights. Supporter Norm Aulabaugh tells Your Talk Show on WCLO the effort is in opposition to the U-S supreme Court’s controversial 2010 Citizens United decision. If approved, the county would support a request for an amendment stating only human beings are endowed with constitutional rights and money is not speech.
